My birthday was awesome. Brian, Kat, Trevor, Cortney, and Becca came over and we watched "Assault on Precinct 13" and just hung out on Friday. Saturday, I spent most of the day with Becca. She was sick, but she wanted to celebrate my birthday. So, we saw "Kicking and Screaming" which is pretty funny. She made me lunch, too. Soup and grilled cheese. Yum! She got me a couple patches and a pin for my coat, a book "Dhampir" and a poster of "Edward Scissorhands". And other than money, I got the "Nightmare Before Xmas" records and I stole my rents' record player to play them. Hooray!

Don't worry, I'll try to shorten it down, so you don't have to read a whole month in one box.
Let's see, Christmas was good. A few things went wrong, but all in all, it was good. I missed my grandma a lot. If you don't know, my grandma on my father's side was in the hospital during christmas 2002. She died on January seventh 2003. I got to spend a bunch of time with my family. (Not as much as I would have liked, but that's ok.) Not to mention, I got some pretty cool stuff. My favorite things include: a new digital camera, lots of film (BW and color) for my regular camera, a cell phone with a whole year of monthly dues paid, a nightmare before xmas zip-up hoodie (from amy), a dwarf hamster named Skitters (also from Amy), and a bunch of movies. Brian got me the Complete Warrior book, but Rory had already gotten it for me, so he kept it and is buying me a different book.
On Christmas day, I went camping with my family, Amy, and my sister's boyfriend. That was a bit of fun. Some deer let me come right up to them and pet them. Also, Amy and I walked around the woods. I took lots of pictures.
Coconuts Music and Movies is going out of business here in Columbus, so all their used stuff was 50% off. I got some dvds for real cheap.
OH! I baby-sat Maggie for a while the other day (Friday, I think). She's so cute! First baby I ever bottle-fed. Oh, cute! I attempted to change her once, but I didn't really have anyone to help me out, so I didn't do a very good job. So Amy's mom saved me and watched her for a bit.

Mood: bored

This is Amy. [info]khahlyn. I'm updating for Jason because he's a lazy bastard and never bothers to do it himself.

He had a good Christmas, and he got some cool stuff including a digital camera with which he takes lots of pictures and video.

His family and I and his sister's boyfriend all went camping at Salt Fork the 25th to the 27th, and had a good time. Jason and I went swimming and went in the hot tub, and we went exploring in a big ravine and found big cat tracks as big as my hand. Jason has a wish to die by mauling, so he wanted to follow the tracks (they were fresh). I did not particularly feel like following them then, so we didn't, although I would now. Because that would be cool.

Jason and I have been spending excessive amounts of time together, and as a result we are practically Siamese twins, attatched at the pinkies.

Currently, Jason, Rory, and Darren are playing Gladius on XBox, and I am sitting here extremely bored because we're not gaming today, and I have a feeling all they will be doing is playing Gladius. *sigh* Oh well. I'll take a nap or something. Also from Darren: *sigh*

Gah. So bored. I'm going to go smack Rory on the head.

uhhhhh.....can't find my box of old computer games...I wanted to play them today. Oh well. I've pretty much finished my christmas shopping. That's exciting. I've actually received a few things already, too. I got the DM's guide 3.5 and the Complete Warrior (which is awesome with new stuff!!). While I was rooting around in the basement for my computer games, I came across a bookbag filled with my VHS tapes. I had put them in the basement because I was gonna sell them at a yard sale, but we haven't had one yet. So I'm gonna sell them and some cds to MGM tomorrow. My sister is coming and selling some of her stuff, too. I saw LOTR: ROTK, which is super awesome and really long. I saw it at the midnight showing Tuesday night. I was sooooo tired. Saturday, I'm picking up Rory from Columbus and helping him out with some stuff. Oh yeah, I'm gonna teach Amy how to play Magic....Anyone wanna help? I'm terrible at teaching.
Let's see....I haven't been up to a whole lot. I've been hanging out with Amy a lot, which is good. There's more, but I felt like deleting it. So that's all for now. Later.

Subject:AGH! Smallville has taken over my life!

Mood:sored, tired, depressed

Alright, I'll just hit some of the major things that's happened recently. Some I don't wish to talk about, so here's the ones I do want to write here. Been having lots of good-slash-bad days. They're good, but I'm irritated a lot....and sore (I think that may have something to do with the irritation I feel). That, and my eyes are hurting a lot and I don't know why, so it pisses me off. Last Friday was this Christmas Dance at Fairfield which was really fun, I think anyways. Seen some good movies recently, too. Dumb and Dumberer (much to my amazement), Last Samurai (2 and a half hours long), Gothika (contrary to popular opinion NOT scary, but damn good), Bad Santa (hehehe), Timeline (highly recommend). Also, I only have one more episode of Smallville season 2 to download. I don't feel bad about downloading them, seeing as they are not for sale yet, and when they DO go on sale, I'm def buying them. I love that show, it's freaking awesome.
Amy and I are back together...much to most everyone's amazement and enjoyment, I'm sure.
I only have a few more people to buy xmas stuff for. That makes me excited. I think.....around 5-7 people left. YAY!!
Um, not able to think straight right now...update more later.

Mood:full,tired,happy,annoyed

Ok, Tuesday the 18th, I went to MGM again and traded some more VHS and CDs. I traded them in for Pirates of the Caribbean (3 weeks early baby!) and LOTR: extended version (sigh, almost 4 hours long!). After that, Stuff, Amy, Zack, and Rory came over for a bit. Then we went to the Polaris mall. Rory left and walked around. The rest of us decided it was time to eat. Zack had Sbarro's. Stuff had Little Tokyo. And Amy and I had Cajun Cafe. We went to the Buckle and Amy filled out an application. While she did that, Zack was cornered by a pretty salesperson who tried to get him to buy an $80 pair of jeans!! Don't worry, Stuff and I saved him. I think I said something along the lines of, "No, those don't look right on you. You always wear khakis." I don't think the saleschick liked that. Anyway, that was about it for Tuesday. Wednesday, Amy and I saw the Chihuly glass exhibit (hehe Chipotle) at the Franklin Park Conservatory. Then we went and watched POTC. I don't remember anything else about Wednesday. Let's see....Thursday was Amy's interview at the Buckle (sorry you didn't get the job). We also went to TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Taco Bell, then to her house to watch 10 Things I Hate About You with her little sister and then Old School. Friday, Brian called me up and wanted to know if I was doing anything. I told him I wasn't and him, Kat, and Maggie showed up. We watched POTC (again for me, first time for them) and I got to hold the baby like the whole freaking time!! Maggie is sooooo cute!! Saturday, I left at 10, picked Rory up and went to Kristen's. We had a pretty good time there. We saw Master and Commander (which is really good, damn Russell Crowe must have gotten speech lessons or something, i could understand him the whole time) and then watched Thirteenth Ghost. The rest of the evening was spent running around outside since it was a beautiful night. Sunday, I went to church with Liz (yay for Eli!). Does anyone know what I did on Sunday? That's right. My game. It sucked. I didn't enjoy running it at all for some reason. Monday, I went thrifting and bought myself a $9 peacoat (I love it!) and I bought Kristen a leather jacket (which Amy polished up for me whilst we watched Big Trouble). Tuesday, Amy and I cleaned my room and hers. Ew, it was so gross. I took everything off one of her shelves, and rearranged everything on it so it would all fit better. I had to dust it. The shelf was brown and was supposed to be white. I dusted all the items that went on it as well. Wednesday, Kristen, Angie, and Katie came up to my house. They got here about 10-10:30. Amy got here just before them. Everyone said how comfy my room was. :) I gave K her leather jacket and she liked it a lot. Soon after, Angie and Katie left. Then Amy left as well. K and I watched POTC (yes, again). During the middle of it, Amy came back with Subway (eee, she bought me my fave sub)! Not long after that, Angie and Katie got back and K had to return home. I went shopping again with Amy and Zack. I got a few things. I bought Maggie something for xmas. It's a cute red teddy bear with little white snowflakes on it. We also went to Barnes and Noble, where I got a Sandman book: Book of Dreams and a history of pirates book. Amy had giftcards she hadn't ever used, so she gave them to me. Ooh, ooh, I also got some yummy cheesecake and some Chai. I returned home an hour before Brian, Kat, and Maggie came by again. We didn't do a whole lot, seeing as they needed to get back soon. BUT, he's running his game Sunday which is totally rizzer. We watched some funny things on the internet. Today was good. Thanksgiving!!! SOOOOOO FULL!!! Unfortunately, I'm not going to K's house tomorrow. :( Her mom hates me for no reason. So, I told my sis I'd go to Media Play with her tomorrow. You know, day after thanksgiving sale!!! Man, it's gonna be so packed.

This is Amy, posting on Jason's journal. Since he's too lazy to update, I'm doing it for him. He's had a good couple of days. Yesterday, he went to see his girlfriend, whom he loves a lot and he gets this silly-happy look on his face when he talks about the time he spends with her. It's gross-sweet.

Right now he is watching Aliens, and everyone is dying and there's carnage and he's staring like it's beautiful.

Hehe, Jason's mouse glows red when you move it, and his mouse pad has Pooh and Tigger on it.

Ah, he just flipped me off. He's a silly little bumblebee. But no, he cannot sting with his bum.

And you know what? He's my best friend. Bumblebees make good best friends, I think, as long as they are de-stingered.
